OK, as Colin is dancing around his studio in delight, here are a few more franks that I have had on various packages over the years. Apologies if the quality is lower than the last set but these are all scanned from the white board envelopes that Colin uses and they are a bit more glossy than the white cardboard boxes and have a slightly higher tendency to smudge the ink on the franks. (Love the pun on the Great A'Tuin frank!)

Thanks for the scans Joolz!  I think I see a couple I don't have. Smile I'll have to check.  by the way, I've got lots of spares if anyone would like some.

My most recent Edwards & Batley stamps have arrived in board-backed envelopes. Does this mean the classic white box is dead? Has it been killed off by the Price in Proportion system I wonder?

Burned to death in Colin's house fire I think.

Don't panic! I can always buy and make up more white boxes.

There was a postage cost factor but as long as collectors are happy to pay a bit extra for the boxes then next time I produce a large issue I will go back to the boxes.
