Has anybody else come across these? I assume their intention was to promote tourtsm in South Africa and have a 1930s look about them. Previous owner had neatly hinged them to the three cards. Is it the full set even?

Steve, again, I can only see your images if I right click and view them in a new tab. These are part of a series called Our Beautiful Empire Poster Stamps in sheets of 24. Collecting Booklets were also produced. They were from Samuel Jones.

Thanks Daniel.
Unfortunately I cannot amend the thread title so they will have to stay as South Africa. As for not seeing my images correctly, they show up fime on my PC with Firefox, and on my Android phone. Does anybody else have the same problem? Do you use Edge or Chrome because I have issues with these and just do not use them ever. |

Hi Steve,
I have come across quite a few of these sheets now (if you mean the blue and white labels). I have seen recently Canada, South Africa and England. Looking for a New Zealand one if it exists! Cheers TONY

Hi Steve
Just a quick update. The stamps were produced in sheets of 24 with selvedge all around. A set of the Great Britain labels (a whole sheet) sold on Ebay for £12-95 last month. The set below failed to sale at auction last month. Cheers TONY |
