Hi everyone,

When I've seen this forum first time I was surprised to find such a great amount of cinderella info. I've read all the threads and posts not once but several times and I can say that I've learned a lot. I even managed to get some stamps from a few members here...

In the last couple of months I've managed to print my own stamps (well just a few) and I'd like to share them with you. As a big thank you for your contribution on this forum (very helpful for a cinderella newbie like me) and as a Xmas gift I'm willing to send a set of my stamps to everyone interested. There are no costs involved on your side so if you're interested just drop me a PM with your address and I'll post them to you within the next couple of days.

Merry Christmas to everyone!

Marius

Hi Marius
A generous offer which will be eagerly taken up by me. And its good to see that the Forum has inspired someone else to flex their artistic muscles.

You haven't posted a picture of your stamps, so I assume they will be surprise. I like surprises.

Many thanks

Fellow Members

A great offer from Marius and typical of the generous nature of many on this forum. I have a set of these stamps and they will not disappoint.

@ Steve - Your inbox is full - can't reply to your PM. Your're right with the pictures, I won't post any in here...let it be a surprise Tongue

@ Paul - You only have the first two issues...I've sent you the new ones as well.

Hi Marius.

My stamps and cover arrived this morning and I am absolutely delighted with them - thank you so much.

They are a wonderful set, with great variation in the style and content.

When you get a moment I am sure I will not be the only one who would appreciate hearing a bit of the background to the designs - what do they represent, and what, where and when is the nation of Agartha?!

Lovely work - thanks again  Approve

I echo colin's comments Marius. Thank you very much for these stamps. I too look forward to hearing a bit more about Agartha, and where you got the perforating done.

Thank you so much Marius- these stamps are great! They arrived yesterday.
Would be fun to hear more about Agartha, as Steve also said.

I'd like to echo everyone else's praise.  These are nice quality stamps and postmarks.  My congratulations Marius.

Where is Agartha?  Can you point to it on a map for us please?

Keith

Marius, what a lovely name!

Is there somewhere I could see pictures of your stamps?   Perhaps you should post a link to your website or could you just post a picture of one of each of all the stamps for late starters like me who missed out.  You might find there are lots of others who would like to see them.

Judging from the tremendous reaction here, these Agartha stamps must be really special and I love collecting really special things.  Do you have plans for any more in the future?

I know Christmas is long gone Smile ... I thought I'd bump this thread just to answer a few questions...hope you don't mind Tongue

First of all...thanks everyone for the kind feedback.

For those asking where is Agartha and if i can post a map...well... Agartha is a legendary world (or better underworld) said to reside in the earth's core being often related with the hollow earth theory. For more info please check the links below or simply google for agartha.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agartha - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agartha
http://byerly.org/thollowt/agartha.htm - http://byerly.org/thollowt/agartha.htm
http://www.crystalinks.com/hollowearth.html - http://www.crystalinks.com/hollowearth.html

@ Keith, you should find a "map" in one of the articles above...just don't plan your next holiday based on that map :)
@ Steve - printing and perforating done in Germany - Juergen @ YourStamps.biz

Why Agartha? Can't say I'm a big fan of the hollow earth theory or esotericism but I liked the idea of trying (at least) to bring to reality a fantasy world which sparked the imagination of so many people during the centuries...

If you are going to create a fantasy land it may as well be an out and out fantasy

I see that Marius has started selling his stamps on ebay but he has chosen the auction format rather than 'Buy it Now'. Nonetheless, he has several new issues and I purchased the Seven Wonders of the World set which, of course, includes a certain lighthouse Smile

I only see such stamps from Chad, Cuba, and unsurprisingly Guines-Bissau
