A selection of public advice labels mainly issued by the US and State Forest Services, but seemingly some very similar items from New Zealand







The car shown in the NZ puts them in the 1940s I think. And the US ones also seem to be the same era from their style.

The NZ ones interest me - are they for sale/swap?

I have seen the car one on a 1947 cover, so 40's would be correct.

The 1960's ones are very boring in comparison

I was wondering why the kid in the bottom middle stamp was smiling so hard at the bear until I noticed the plant he was standing in front of..... I guess Smokie just saved the old plantation!
