Its a start, but hasn't been updated for a while. Lots of 404s on the links and no contact details. This isn't a task that one could plan in a weekend. But I am sure there will be sufficient contactable postal authorities out there to create an impressive artefact. |

Graham - you could try contacting Bill Porter (a member here and for many years a great advocate of Local Posts in the USA). I would suggest you try his business email as he doesn't have time to log in here as much as he used to, so any PM reply might wait a while - I will send his address to you by PM as I know her prefers to do his communication by post (so he can attach stamp!) but when he realises you are in the UK I am sure he will be OK with email.
Or join the Cinderella Stamp Club www.cinderellastampclub.org.uk/ who I am sure would welcome you with open arms and who have a very active Local Post section. Just bear in mind they are an entirely voluntarily-run organisation so don't expect anything to happen with any urgency.
Great idea though, and I am sure there are quite a few members here who could help out until you get help from other quarters.

Pennyfarthingpost I would be interested in being party to such a project once you have identified extant Local Posts willing to take part. Postmaster CILP

Well, as of Yesterday, PFP is now Regulated by Ofcom. !! And ..... move into Post/Sorting Office/Workshop next weekend. Things moving with more method now. First Actual PFP yellow branded postbox went out Yesterday, and another going out next week. Still all unique designs, due to fact that Gas Can conversions have been given a big NO by the relevant authorities. Though the prototype will be installed on the street outside the PO (private land next to main drag). Yesterday only 2nd month anniversary, so not doing too bad. :D

There's a very good two page article in the latest Gibbons Stamp Monthly, July 2012, on Graham's Penny Farthing Post. Perhaps the ultimate accolade (after being mentioned in this forum
Congratulations to Graham who seems quite adept at generating major publicity for his postal service and stamps.
