There are many private newspaper and parcel stamps. Here's an attractive mint lot of London Transport Prepaid Newspaper Parcel stamps for executives of the company:

They are fine examples of serially numbered stamps and the prefixes A,B and C suggest thet there were several series and note the change in perforation to rouletting with the C series.
