Landshuter Hochzeit 1475

This wedding was between Hedwig, daughter of the King of Poland, and George, the son of the Duke of Bavaria i 1475 in the town of Landshut. It was a major alliance and celebration with 10,000 people in attendance. From 1912, a regular festival was held every 3 or 4 years with the next one due in 2021. the townsfolk dress in medieval costumes and the men are encouraged to grow their hair long in the style of the time. Visitors are not permitted to wear costumes so as to maintain standards.

The first 5 stamps depict the parade (I'm missing one stamp).
