   Last autumn I went to Vienna for a week, and so recently I watched Orson Wwelles' The Third Man to see how much I could recognise. In the event not much. Apart from the big wheel in Prater Park (the fairground is much more extensive now) perhaps the only other view was that outside Harry Lime's apartmwnt which I think was quite near to the entrance to the Swiss Riding School. 
This is not the case with these promotion stamps from an earlier era. I recognise well over half of the views on the stamps including Schonbrunn Palace, Parliament, St Stephansdom and of course the big wheel again.
