Can't help thinking the intention behind the stamps was a good one
but that word

even if it was not intended as an insult
it still gave the message that this person is "inept"

"The word" was perfectly okay until idiots used it as an insult.  My sister is disabled and came under the Spastics Society umbrella. People are really such morons with the way they twist words.

Maybe it was ok but according to wikipedia....

Disabled people in the United Kingdom often consider "spastic" to be one of the most offensive terms related to disability
