My Stampsmyth package arrived this morning and had time for only a quick look at them I am very impressed. I seem to have more than I remember buying but I will go through it all later. Have already found the variant
A very nice issue and a comprehensive package so well done Alan and Colin. That artwork proof really completes the set.

These are the stamps I saw on eBay, and I hope I will be able to buy something from the issue before the listing closes. My son loves pirates so perhaps these stamps will help get him interested in stamp collecting too.

Got mine this morning, just waiting for the wife to go out so that I can have a good peruse. From what I've seen so far, another excellent issue from C & A.

. . . yep!!! Mine arrived to. Just got there before the Gnome, otherwise, . . . .
Great issue, though the variant was easy to find.

Mine didn't arrive with the postman this morning, despite having waited in, at which point I had to leave for work. As I surmised it finally came with the parcel postman in the afternoon but since it required a signature, and I wasn't in, a card was left. I won't be able to have it re-delivered until Saturday! So, for now, I'm left looking at my Royal Mail 'Something for you' card imagining what might have been

Best issue yet, thanks Colin and Alan! Well worth the wait.
My stamps are developing rapidly now, but I may put off release, as I am running low on funds for supplies! All being well, that won't be the case, but even if it is, I won't make people wait 3 years.

A nice issue lads. You are at your best when playing nicely together. Keep it up. I'm saving the extras until tomorrow - two envelopes staring at me:)
Daniel - you should train your postie to do the signing fort you and then s/he can just bob it through your letter box. That's what mine did today. And the highlight? The envelope has a real £5 stamp on it with a nice Norwich CDS postmark! As rare as hens' teeth - thanks for taking that trouble Colin/Alan. |

A classic. Well done both. A perfect partnership.
I have had to look at it all; I couldn't resist opening everything. Apart from the stamp, which literally reeks of pirateness, I'm inpressed by the quality of the materials used. No short cuts, no corners cut. Royal Mail could learn a few lessons here. Yes the variant was easy to spot, but its a multiple variant. I like the way the theme is carried throughout the design, and it ties in with the little write-up about Maravedas in the cover inserts. Milkman, I think you will find you have either the Bonus envelope or the Forum members envelope or both - with some items unavailable elsewhere. Treasure (pun intended) them. Stampmash, though these are not cheap cinderellas what you get is quality production. If only 'real' stamps were as well conceived as these. |
