Last week I managed to get to the British Library, where an archive of Discworld stamps is held within the philatelic section. Its by no means complete, but there is material for all ears and of a wide variety. Plenty of material for me to both add new sucks to, and update existing sucks on The Discworld Stamp Collector.

The Library is conveniently situated between Kigs Cross and Eston Stations. There is a small display of DW stamps in the entrance hall for casual viewers, but although the archives are available for viewing you do need an appointment and to obtain a readers card, for which 2 forms of ID are requirred with addrress and signature. That said the curators, Paul and Richard, were only too willing to help. Just make sure you have plenty of time!

And anyone can add to the archive. If anyone does have interesting items which they wish to leave to posterity, rather than sell, this is the plaice for them.
