Did anyone see the recent history Channel documentary that followed the quest for Atlantis in Southern Spain, following some satnav photos? It actually appears to have some historical and archaeological foundation, though unfortunately these foundations are below a heavily silted river estuary...

This link might also be of interest in connection with Aage Johannes Larsen Mott and Atlantis.
http://www.newspaperarchive.com/SiteMap/FreePdfPreview.aspx?img=114083755 One comment about the above photo of CL Matt. It must be Johannes Larsen Mott, as my great-grandfather CL Mott never came to North America. Marie and Christen lived all their lives on the island of Fyn JL Mott would send letters back to Denmark about his adventures, and often they would get a good laugh over is "explorations" and "adventures".

Might anyone be thinking of reviving the stamps of Atlantis? I am sure I read once of these being re-issued - has anyone else seen that?

No I have not heard of this. I have gotten a nice article recently on the Atlantis stamps in the Society of Philatelic American's Handbook of 1956 though.

Hi there, I was surprised to see these works since the creator of these stamps was my grandfather. He was ever active in raising Atlantis, and the story is much to long for this comment, but I will post pics when I have time of other stamps.
