I still subscribe to new stamp issues from the UK, Australia and New Zealand, continuing some small parts of the wide philatelic interests that my father used to collect.

I just received the Christmas gift catalogue from Australia Post and flicked through it without a lot of interest as, like Royal Mail's equivalent, it mostly seems to be a lot of tosh to me.

Near the back of the catalogue, however, one item caught my eye and, although it is too expensive for me to purchase, I thought the description is interesting:

Commemorative Australian Stamp Multisheets 2011 (A$89.95)

This set of two stamp multisheets [one sheet has all the stamps which were issued in portrait format; the other sheet has all the stamps which were issued in landscape format] features all the commemorative sized stamps from 2011 except for the Flood Relief stamps
  • Limited edition of only 500 sets
  • Each set includes Cinderella Stamps within the sheet
I've never seen an item from an official postal administration before which explicitly mixes stamps issued by the administration with Cinderellas. Have others?

What I find interesting is that, if you copied this direct, the Aus authorities are actually using the term Cinderella stamp. Gud on 'em I say.

The bold face to highlight "Cinderella Stamps" is mine but the words are a straight copy and paste from the page on the Australia Post website to which I linked in my previous post.
