Hi
What elements should be listed for an entry in an updated trading stamps catalogue? The current elements are: Name on stamp Is stamp a generic design with the firm name inserted Stamp or image reference denomination (if given) cash value (if given) color size perforation paper printed control (if used) overprint (if used) backprint (if used) What element (if any) that should be added What element (if any) that should be deleted Should catalog contain only US, only Us & Canada, Worldwide stamps? What size should the image be, full size, double size? Should hardcopy catalog be in color, in black & white with CD version in color Any comments would be appreciated, Stay cool, Art

Hi,
I am slowly making progress on a new edition of my book on Deposit, rebate, Savings & Trading Stamps.Three things add to the slowness: 1) I'm 87, 2) I got cooped by the Baltimore (MD) Philatelic Society to help move, reorganize and computerize their library, 3) last summer I started having vision problems and have had several operations and procedures and more to come. I have identified over 5500 different plan names. Next I have to scan in over 10,000 images and then describe them. I had a target of September 2017 for completion of not only doing the T/S book but also a new one on US Labor Union dues and assessment stamps and an update on the thousand plus page book on perfins and punched US (including state and local) revenue stamps. Have a good day, Art |
