Found these on my travels...
... what smell would you suggest for a fragranced stamp from your country? A rose for the UK? Cinammon for the USofA?

Cabbage for Poland?
Bigos, a savoury stew of meat and cabbage, is considered to be the national dish of Poland.
This thought came to mind, being a collector of Discworld cinderellas, because cabbages are of course a particularly important vegetable from a flatelic perspective. They have provided illustrative inspiration for a number of stamps. And a perfumed-ish aroma for the famous "Skunk Stamp".

I saw that the post of the Faroe Islands is going to issue fish skin stamps! I don't know if they will smell. But if they do, he smell would be quite suitable for the country I think.

I suspect that fish skins get used in lots of everyday products we and we are not even aware of it - cosmetics, foods etc.
A fun idea for their stamps though. I keep reading that stamp production is in decline since the advent of email but issues like these suggest otherwise. |

If any collectors of Faroe Island stamps are also vegans, will it mean they will have gaps in their collections?
