I hope someone can enlighten me. I purchased a series of Potato Tax stamps (which I think are quite beautiful), what I would like to know is whould they be considered Cinderellas or if not what category would you put them in?
Thank you in anticipation.

There are nice looking.  They are USA Potato Tax revenue stamps.  They are from 1935 but were never used as the tax (on excess potato production!) was declared illegal only 5 weeks after its enactment. Confused

They go up to at least $1.50 and are catalogued by Scott as revenues so that's what I'd class them as.  But lots of people class revenues as cinderellas so you can have you cake (or potato) and eat it too!

I'm not sure who the image is.  I thought it might be the goddess of potatoes but I can't find any reference. How about Huixtocihuatl the Aztec goddess of salt?  You need salt on your chips!
