WOW!
"Comprehensive" doesn't begin to describe the contents of the special delivery package. The detail is painstaking, not just in the stamps themselves, but in the background information as well.

I heartily recommend the "two single stamps in an envelope & extras". (there must be a snappier way to describe these). and don't buy just one!

Its going to take a while just to take it all in. Currently, I'm having problems telling the difference between Wollen and Wobblen. They all look the same to me.

Don't miss this issue of stamps. Its probably the best Laernu issue yet.

Mine have arrived too and as usual I am over the moom.

Will have a really good later, but Colin, please tell Alan that he has excelled on this issue; such detailed illustrations.

Taking Keith's example I suspect they came from Norfolk by bike.

I will pass on your comments to Alan, thank you!

Next year, take the example of the buyer in Reading and specify Special Delivery instead!!!

Have some sympathy for the buyers overseas who still have a further couple of days to wait for delivery PLUS the post-Brexit uncertainty of whether their respective Customs officials will slap a surcharge or VAT on top of the existing postage and contents cost...   Ouch Shocked   How could any Customs official possibly estimate the value of a limited edition stamp collection?

My stamps sheets arrived today, and I love the detailed lines, and the layout of the stamp with the little message top left of each stamp. These stamps need closer inspection, and each look reveals more attention to fine detail, it feels as if your looking at something from a bygone era, well done, really grateful someone is doing this - so unique, very pleased...

Love these but I am having difficulty in identifying the herd variations.

Licken an Droolen are quite obvious, though I have spares of Droolen and am missing licken.

Harry is a bit more subtle, and again, if I have identified correctly, I have spares.

I think I can see a Bugsen variant in my collection but not 100% certain

But Woolen and Wobblen seem to be identical.

Anyone else having problems?

Wobblen is in green, Wollen in black...

Wobblen is usually leaning over a bit but I have adjusted him to be more upright here and to make the differences more obvious - it's all about the ears  :-)

I think so Coiln.
For me the difference is how Wobblen's left ear is slightly over the shed's wheel.

In the meantime though, I seem to have mislaid my Harry's. When I find them I can offer a swap of one of those for a Bugsen. any offers?

Not sure whether Colin is planning to merge these threads (two in Cinderella stamps, one in Market place) but I just wanted to share how beautiful these stamps are

The thread in Market Place is a Sales thread and will be removed after 30 days as is the case for all the adverts in that thread. I hadn't realised there were two other threads but I will take a look and see what is possible.

Thank you for the kind words, I have passed on comments to Alan and we are thinking about next year's already, though I suspect we'll have forgotten about everything by December and will have to start all over again!  We never learn  Wink

I began this forum as a place to discuss and share ALL cinderella stamps. It is my first forum and is not perfect BUT I will endeavour to make it the best available.

Any positive help appreciated!

I have spares of all the sheep (I went a bit mad with the stamps) so as soon as I can remember where the safe spot I put them was, I will list them on the trading thread.

So I have a spare (somewhere) for you Steve if you still need one

It's taken forever to get to checking over my batch of this year's Isle of Vue stamps (and I eventually had to go to Colin for guidance on identifying the difference between the Wollen and Bugsen variants).

But I also have spares of the Wollen, Licken, Droolen or Harry variants if anyone is seeking any of those.

I think I also have a spare of a horizontal joined pair, which is a Wollen variant tete-beche with a standard stamp.

Every Valentine's issue I produce a variant which normally makes its way to a special postcard or item posted to Stampex attendees. However this year there was no Stampex so I had to make a quick decision on what to do...

So this year, I decided, why not send out just a very few - 4, possibly 5 - hidden amongst all the 'flock' bags sold and keep quiet about it in case anyone flags it up.

I thought now is a good time to go public on this, before lots of trades take place and someone swaps this rarity.  I have still got some bags left over here so it is entirely possible all the examples are still here - but that is very unlikely.

I have not kept entirely silent about the stamp - it featured prominently in some pictures on Facebook - and it is not exactly a subtle variation we are talking about here, but here it is in all its flipped-over glory  :-)

Happy hunting  Big smile  Wink  Shocked
