I am pleased you like your stamps, they were a bit last minute but seem to have gone down well!

Thank you for posting up a picture, I hope other buyers will post their stamps here too and the full range of stamps can be seen.

Here's what I received. Some nice cancellations.

note one Hallowen stamp is perfinned; you cannot see it but the dots are 2019.

I see that the original DEATH OF STAMPS stamp had the text in open capital letters as per the issued Halloween stamps. In this batch the are some with text in mixed case - unknown typeface, but matching that used on the original foreign editions.

There is an original Dead Letter stamp with margins top andd bottom, This must have been from a mini-sheet.

I was also intrigued by one of Joolz's stamps, with the skull most noticable. Can I have one please

I have received a few enquiries from buyers who missed out completely on the mixed bags and are looking for examples of the Death of Stamps stamps so it might be worth listing your doubles and wants/swaps on the forum Trades threads...

I'll try and sort out my doubles and trades over the weekend.

Working out whether there are variants of the three Hand of Fate stamps is a bit of a pre-requisite to that though. Wink

I shall be taking these down from ebay at the weekend so if anyone wants these stamps after that they will have to contact me here by PM.

Sheets are still available, plus I have a very few mixed bags available which were 'ordered' here but not paid for - PM me if you are interested.

Some Death of Stamps are not as dead as others

Hope Colin doesn't mind me doing some advertising on his behalf

But I don't know how many of this forum look at etsy.com for their stamps instead of Ebay...
It was purely by chance that I came across

FarFetchedPhilately

which has recently reopened and offers

All Hallows, Dead Letter and Valentine (Cherub Post) stamps for sale

(in case anyone missed out on the stamps last February and the previous October)

A good idea to make these available year round!

If
Two Halloween sheets
Two Dead Letter Office sheets
A Death Duty sheet
and Three Multinational Sheets
aren't enough to tempt you to take a look at Colin's latest stamps....

I would strongly recommend purchasing the "Mixed Bags" of stamps sooner rather than later.

They were listed as "Low stock" but seem to be "In stock" at the moment.
and they contain Stamps and Varients not available on the sheets (as well as some of his "Hand of Fate" stamps from 2019)

p.s For the completists amongst you who think you have these stamps already (from previous years) It may not be immediately apparent but these stamps are smaller than Colin's previous issues

FarfetchedPhilately on Etsy.com

P.P.S I haven't posted any direct links in this message but Viglink has. I'm not sure where they will take you !!

Should I mention that some of the stamps have one variant
but others have f i v e (I think)
(but you have to buy the mixed bags to find these)

Great to see Colin getting a permanent shop presence on Etsy. I finally got around to checking it out last week and ordered a set of the new Halloween sheets. I could, of course, have rationed myself since they will be there more permanently than he was able to do cost-effectively on Ebay but I couldn't, equally of course, resist the full set. And very nice they are too.

I noticed that there were plenty of the "Death of Stamps" version in the three mixed bags I got but there was no sheet of it available to purchase. I asked Colin and he said he wasn't happy with the clarity of the text so felt it had more mileage as a free extra in the mixed bags. Such a perfectionist! They looked pretty good to me.

I've only purchased a couple of times before on Etsy (once for artisan dog biscuits hand-made in the now infamous market town of Barnard Castle!) but I've heard that it's a better platfrom for "creators" than Ebay and I've certainly had good experiences with it so far.
