The National Trust has appeared on Royal Mail special issues and been the subject of a Prestige stamp booklet. The 100th anniversary was marked with stamps in 1995, while the NT for Scotland's 50th was issued 1981. Guernsey has also issued a special set in 2010 for their NT.

The National Trust for Scotland has also issued stamps for St Kilda (as a local post service, though there is no post box and special permission is required to land there).

The English National Trust appropriately issued 4 stamps to commemorate the opening to the public of Tintagel Post Office, though I believe it has not been restored as that post office, but rather a different period.

But here are three stamps I have not come across before, but all marked National Trust. They all appear to be different issues, but only one states its for a special reason

They are all a bit twee, but has anybody any idea if, when, where and when other stamps were available?

This is the Tintagel issue

(from the good old days when it cost 9p first class (and before Royal mail corrupted the term 'first class'))
