Just after Terry Pratchett's "Nation" had been issued I was in Wincanton hoping to bump into Hilary (she was in hiding but that's another story). Anyway, I spotted and bought this framed cover to Charles Darwin which was on sale.
I've never seen or heard of another one. Can anyone throw any light? Like how many are there out there? Is it worth enough that I could buy my own South Sea island if I sold it? Keith |

This is an example of the original British Empire stamp that is the basis for the design.

The cover looks to be in a similar wall box to the "Cabinet of Curiosity" items. I believe very few were made.

Perhaps, if we clubbed together and sold both of ours, we could afford to buy a South Sea island jointly but I hope you agree that there's only one we could possibly try for, don't you think?

The Darwin cover as far as I remember was a limited edition, and only available framed. It was only avalable from the shop as they didn't want broken glass ending up in the post.
