Remarkably we haven't had a thread for these stamps yet, but now seems an appropriate time.
Those who have received their Year 3 sheets will probably have had a preview of the new Quadrants. The originals came in 2 sizes, 22mm and 44mm sqaure (or diamond if you are pedantic). These are halfway between - 31 mmm. I have the 5S value on mine. Now most Laernu stamps have been valued on F for Filis, with the Dragons valued in D for Doris. I should know what this S is short for but just cannot recall it. its in shades of brown, different to the previous issue and I just cannot make out what the base design is! It looks a bit like a face, but my excuse is that both the postmark and the perfins on my copy don't help. Once I am told what it is it will be obvious. I await news of the full release of these, and anything anybody else can add. Nice blue Chevache on the cover too. |

Silly me, I didn't realise that the quadrant on my envelope from Colin was a new one, but now this thread has opened my eyes.
Mine is a 1D (I think it is a D) and has three hares chasing each other's tails around. Colour is, I would say, earthy green. My Chevache stamp is the perfed version of the one in the centre of the imperforate colour test proof sheet.

You of all people should know to check these covers - and get a second opinion. |

The Quadrant stamp on my envelope was a perfinned ('0613'?) 4 Doris issue which appears to feature a stingray or flatfish of some sort, in shades of blue.
It took me ages to release it from the envelope and poke out the perfin holes... but it was well worth it

I'm sure the release of these is imminent, though applying the Edwards Time Relativity Factor this will mean you all have time to start putting pennies and 5ps aside to save up for these beauts.

Has anybody else had any of the New Quadrants on their Isle of Vue packages?
These were on mine. Not only is this the 6th design of these beauts, but also these are back to the 22 x 22 mm dimensions of the originals. (my scanner isn't good at high contrast detail, but these are dragonflies) I am hoping their reappearance on post heralds their imminent release. |

I have realised that the early editions (medium size format) of the New Quadrants haven't been revealed, so here are some
I would really like yo know what others have lurking in their collections. Are there any variations (missing from the original quadrants), perfins, or anything of interest. |
