I've been collecting Discworld stamps for over two years now and my collection has grown and grown. (embarrassed look).
As well as folders full of mint stamps, I have numerous envelopes from the Discworld Emporium and wondered how other Cinderella stamp collectors store their "Franked" Stamps ?

For example..
Is it best to leave this envelope intact ? (There are many more of this size)
It's card backed, so is it OK to remove the cardboard and store it in an A4 folder (but I would need to trim the paper as its slightly larger than A4) ?
Or is it best just to cut out the stamps and frank ?
The Tower of art is a Sport - is it's value diminished now it has been franked ?
Or is it not that important (now that Royal Mail can't be bothered to frank the mail that travels through their system) since its only the standard AMPO frank ?

The easy answer is that it's up to your own personal preference.
Collecting entire covers, even with the cardboard backing removed, leads to even more folders - and there is no logical order to them apart from order of receipt and this is not always reflected in the stamps.
As for removing the stamps ..... I have both soaked them off the paper and cut them out with the AMPO franks intact. Again I have no way to add them to my albums apart from including the odd franked stamps to the full unmounted mint sets.
The Tower sport is likely to have the resale value diminished, but for me this is not an issue as I rarely sell any stamps.
For me the biggest problems are that the address label is often a bit crooked and so looks untidy, and that Royal Mail self adhesive is just so unattractive.

I agree, these do prove to be a problem. I have a separate binder for them but feel that they need to be better integrated so I started to cut them down and show them on piece. However, your example is a good case in point. Ideally, you would want to retain the stamps and the franks but the address label gets in the way. The stickers are nice too but are too detached from the stamps, I collect these separately as cut-outs.
