May I suggest that those of you into stamps might want to take a look at
FarFetchedPhilatelyon the Etsy.com site ?? If you are more Scrooge than Santa maybe you shouldn't bother. but those of you into Cinderellas or planning to write a letter to Santa should definitely take a look. You can even get an artwork proof (showing the development of the design) of my favourite.... |

Nice selection of the other Christmas stamps in a mixed bag arrived today, and it includes some variants too

I think there are (other than the variants on the sheet of stamps)...
Four more variants of Santa (of which I have three). I have Two more variants of the Reindeer four more of the Penguin and Three more of the Christmas pudding. I think there are Two more variants of the Robin (of which I have 1) and Two more of the Snowman (of which I have 1) so I definitely recommend buying lots of those mixed bags of stamps (I bought 5) and you can even stick the spares on the envelopes of the Christmas cards you send ! |

So far I have identified three variants for each stamp, in addition to the sheet's winking variants. So it looks like there may be four of each non-sheet variant going by what you said Elmstead. That would make sense - a sheet of 24 with each stamp represented by one non-sheet variant
I have finally seen the 2020 Snowman sheet variant at last. It was rather obvious in the end. |

I think this is the complete set of penguins (sorry the image is a bit shaky) the first two are on the Christmas sheet but the other four aren't (they are only available in the mixed bags). The differences are quite subtle in two cases. Has anyone got a complete set of the other Christmas characters ? (and yes Colin, a penguin is "Christmassy" they work at Santa's factory at the South Pole) |

I didn't think to look there!!! But more fun to discover it on the sheet I think I have now identified 4 additional variants for each stamp, apart from Two of the Robins. Those are the most simplistic design, so any variant could be rather subtle. |

Precisely, there ought to be festive Polar Bears really... A Santa's helper that REALLY sorted out naughty children, now that could be a subject for a stamp... . |

No such thing as a naughty child. I should know because I was one once. They are just free spirits expressing themselves
