These are reworks of New Zealand postage stamps I think,  The one at the bottom left is the 1899 4d indigo and brown.  Top left is the 1898 half penny purple and brown.  The original centre designs were "Lake Taupo and Mount Ruapheu" and "Mount Cook" respectively.

I'm not sure about the other two as my catalogue only goes up to 1951.  Any suggestions?

Hi Keith

Whaling - 2d green is a  copy of the 1956 stamp (apart from the wording).

I need to check out SG for the others

For some reason my memory is telling me that the Whaling stamp was one of the regular Health semi-postals.  If so, I'm not sure what message it was trying to give - "Whaling keeps you fit"?  "Harpooning is good for you"?  "Go to work on a Blue Whale"?

The bottom right stamp is based on the 1940 NZ Centennial 7d Maori Council design but only the border has been used.Nuke
