It was very nice to meet up at the weekend, and to have an opportunity to let off some steam about some of the downsides of running the forum. Keeping everyone happy here is proving an increasingly difficult - and thankless - task. The consensus seemed to be that it was worth carrying on.
Back with a bang now though! Every year we meet we discuss the possibility of meeting up again during the warmer summer months, so let's hope this year we can manage that. I think the idea of booking some seats for the Royal Mail train is a good one - but what dates suit? Are there any other events we could try to meet up for? And should we be planning ahead for 2020 when the Royal Mail are (I was told) planning something special? |

Sorry that I'm going to miss the Stampex meet-up this year. I'm taking Ruth on a very special treat she's wanted for quite some time to see Tosca at Covent Garden and today was the day she wanted to go as Placido Domingo is conducting. Hope you have a great time and I'll be back. Next year.

No, coach is still best value and it has free wifi now too. Train on a Saturday (unless it's at dawn) horrendously expensive :-(
