Here is a nice replica folded card depicting reprints (from the original die) plus 2 test dies for the Australian stamps commemorating Sir Charles Kingsford-Smith's round-the-world flight from 1931 in his triplane 'Southern Cross'.

Every year the Australian National Parks and Wildlife Service produce a miniature sheet sold in aid of Koala research. This first one for 1988-89 is a special edition overprinted and signed for the Australian Museum Foundation:
This second one is from 1990 and is signed by the artist: |

In 1892 gold was discoverd in Western Australia and the town of Coolgardie was founded. In 1893 a private cycle mail service was established, by James A Healy, to carry the mail to the nearest town of Kalgoorlie. In 1894 he introduced 2 blue stamps, anniversary reproductions shown above. By 1895 the service was expanded using a camel service. There were 3 values of stamps issued, 6d, 2/- and 5/-. The Western Australian Government stepped in and stopped their sale soon after. The additional 1/- orange shown below is bogus. These are all anniversary stamps and the 1/- is modern.

Two more sheets. The first is for the Australian National Philatelic Exhibition of 1950 and the second is a sheet of stamps for the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
