These American versions of the London International Exhibition stamps for 1950 are better quality and better designed but this was just 5 years after the end of WWII.

For 1960, there were also 5 sheets, the other 2 being light blue and pink. Both of these designs are straightforward but lack imagination.

3 of the 5 colours of the sheets London International Stamp Exhibition 1950. The other colours weer grey and cream-yellow.

This is a rare set stamps issued for The Fourth London Stamp Exhibition in 1939. It was cancelled due to the war.
