Ending next weekend...

Various bags of Discworld stamps, each containing something rare and/or interesting!

Proceeds of sale going towards the cost of running the forum here for one further year - I have renewals of the licensing for the website address, the registered name and the software and bandwidth to pay for this month...

I've tried competitions to produce an anniversary stamp - but only 2 or 3 people took part and then too few actually bought the 'chosen' stamp. If anyone wants to buy some of the previous year's stamps let me know...

So let's hope this works, even if someone else wins the listing, you have the unfettered joy of knowing the winner has paid towards the running of your beloved forum  :-)

AS PROMISED - here is a list of the rare and interesting stamps currently to be found in the mixed bags I am selling on eBay - there may well be more but these are the ones I scribbled down as I was finding them.

There should be something rare or interesting in EVERY bag but of course my idea of rare or interesting might well be different to others!

For example... Bag A37... (see previous post, above...)  Hogswatch 'Ice Rose' and 'Rat- Nosed Snowman' SPORTS. Nothing unusual as such perhaps - BUT these two stamps, in the same bag, are CORNERS. They came from a rare sheet of 'shop-only' ALL Sports, not the standard sheet with only one sport. Plus, they are from the same corner of their sheets so make a perfect pair for display. How rare is that!

Here's the list... (and please forgive me for not knowing the names collectors have given for all the stamps, I never learnt these back in the day). If it doesn't make sense then ASK!

Seamstress Guild 2p early design - different print shade variations - including the sports, AND one pair with not only a colour variation across the two stamps but those two stamps are the sport and the very, very, rare common with the 'white square' in the top right corner.

Wahoonies, some of each design only otherwise available in the Journal (Journal 6 or 7?)

East Knoyle green Patrician 1p. Normally to be found stuck on a one-off commemorative cover only a very few went into LBEs

Thieves Guild 7p Gulley Pair including sport

'Pink' edge Penny Patrician print error

Penny Patrician Rose sports

Various variations of the Bonk 1B Werewolf stamps

Perforation errors - Ankh-Morpork 1p; 50p; Halfpenny; 3p; Genua 1c; Tower of Arts... Djelibeybi 'Offler' 5Ptcasp with missing perf line

Light and dark versions of the Flagrante stamps

Light and 'Yellow-green' versions of the Blue Bernard

Owlswick halfpenny reds, each version

Lawyers' Guild $5 Sport

Early Thieves Guild 4p sport/common pair

Various designs of Assassins' Guild 'Contract Renewal' stamps

Hogswatch sleigh '50p/FIFTY PENCE' sports - including a pair of sports

Winking Dove Seamstress Guild 2p sport/common pair

Twoshirts 2p sport/common pair

First year Merchants Guild sport corners

Joined pair of 'Flipped A' Patrician sports

Red Rolande de Collines

Pair 'blurred face' Penny patrician sports

And probably more! But that's enough to be going on with - if you see something then let collectors here know.

Take a really close look and grab a bargain!

Don't be put off by buying a whole bag just to get one stamp... it could very well prove better value than buying them individually from other listings on eBay  :-)And you can always sell - or swap - the spares on the cinderellastampsforum

Profits from this sale will go towards the cost of running the www.cinderellastampsforum.com website for one more year - this month I have all the administration costs to meet - so all for the good!

When they're gone they're gone - unless anyone has any Discworld spares (or other cinderellas) they'd like to donate to the forum cause?  Message Admin.

I love the fridge magnets.

Take me back to the early days and the Monstrous Regiment event at Clarecraft in Suffolk.

What else do you have tucked away?  Big smile

I never much liked the fridge magnets as they were originally going to be a one-off and sold at the shop but when they realised there was not enough profit to be made they dumped them on me to sell privately!

The ones on ebay are what was left behind in case anyone claimed their 'FREE Bag' from the vouchers inside, I have held onto them for years and they still look OK (though the labels are lifting up from the brown envelopes) so I thought it might help people fill gaps in their collections.

I have other things tucked away but it's a question of finding them - or them finding me!

Don't ever forget I am happy to trade for Clarecraft items - and I am still chasing one of Bernard's Post Office models and the Thunderer Press, having had to sell my own quickly for cash when the shop decided they didn't need me anymore  :-(
