Hello all,
I present to you the first stamp issue of the Aerican Empire ( http://www.aericanempire.com/ ) For those who are getting in touch with the Empire for the first time, please note that things are taken very seriously throughout the Empire, it's just that the meaning of "seriously" is very very subjective.

The first stamp represents the Aerican Empire's flag, the world (and outer space) famous smiley face being in the middle of it  http://www.aericanempire.com/flag.html )

the currency of 4.09 Solari makes the stamp worth about 4 hydrogen grams ( http://www.aericanempire.com/money.html ) and also represents the date the stamp design (by V.MacMold - my name throughout the Empire) was approved by Emperor Eric ( April 9 )

The stamp sheet has printed on it's sides the Aerican Empire's Colonies.
(actual scan of stamp sheet)

Below I give you the first ever postcard stamped and postmarked with the Northern Plutopia colony postmark.
the postmark represents a solar eclipse in which the planet (inner circle) passes in front of the Sun (outer dashed circle)

Very nice! It looks like the stamps are perforated; do you mind sharing who you got to do that?

You should let Juergen know about our little forum Karyll.

Could you put up a link to his services in the 'perforation' page  Thumbs Up  There are lots of people looking for perforating services there.

If anyone is interested in having the full sheet of stamps:

price per sheet: 2 euros
price per postcard with stamp and postmark: 2 euros

s&h per order 1.5 euros regular mail; 3.5 euros registered mail.

all covers sent will have the stamp and postmark on them

if you have your own local post+postmark, I collect postcards written and stamped, and we can trade (partially or totally) in those as well.

How can anyone complain about the lack of stamp-makers on the forum when there is work like this being produced?

Well done Victor!
